Our Adoption Journey

OUR ADOPTION JOURNEY

Most of you are aware of our struggles to start our family. After 5 pregnancy losses we are now venturing into the world of adoption. We are very excited to be adopting and are hoping that through this blog we can share our experience and help others that may be thinking about going through the process themselves.

This is also a way to get the word out to everyone that if you do hear of any pregnant women out there who are considering adoption to please let us know. You can contact us through this blog or via email at lisa_weston@live.com. We will also have a toll free number set up soon which I will post on this page. Any help or leads anyone can give us would be greatly appreciated. Below is a little slide show we have included in our profile with the adoption agency we are using. Enjoy!

  3. I'm not sure where you live - or even know you - but, I really suggust looking into adopting through your local county agency. I know that there are LOTS and LOTS of babies who need homes who are currently in the Foster Care System. Other advantages of adopting though the county include that it's free, you get access to all county services and get continued support thoughout your life if you have any types of problems (i.e. emotional, behavioral, etc.). My family is really active in our country Foster system and have seen first hand the miracle of family though country adoption. If you would like more info, feel free to email my at emylou7@hotmail.com

(I'm totally not a county employee, if thats what you might be thinking! Just a teacher involved in the "system!")
